Every competitor at the Rotterdam Taekwon-Do Cup is required to enter the field with a coach — including during Tuls. Here is everything coaches need to know before arriving on 3 October 2026.
How many coaches can your club bring?
The number of coaches allowed per club depends on the number of participating competitors:
- 1 to 7 participants → maximum 2 coaches
- 8 to 15 participants → maximum 3 coaches
- 16 or more participants → maximum 4 coaches
Want to bring additional coaches?
This is possible for a fee of €15.00 per extra coach.
Minimum age
Coaches must be at least 16 years old and have a basic knowledge of first aid.
Dress code
Coaches are expected to present themselves appropriately on the day. The following applies:
✅ Tracksuit and trainers
✅ Towel
❌ No jeans
❌ No caps or headgear
❌ No sleeveless shirts
❌ No Dobok
Exceptions to the dress code can only be made in consultation with the head referee.
Important: every competitor needs a coach on the field
Even for Tuls, a coach must accompany the competitor to the field. In the case of 2 participants from the same school competing simultaneously, and only in consultation with the centre referee, one coach may be present next to the field.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.
We look forward to welcoming you and your team at the Rotterdam Taekwon-Do Cup!
